As an Education Public Sector Lead, you will drive Apple’s education mission to transform public school’s teaching and learning and better prepare students with the vital skills to succeed in the future. You will develop and implement strategies for crafting education technology initiatives and enable the adoption of Apple education programs, curriculums and products in K-20 institutions by working with federal, state and city governments and driving awareness among education public policy agents. You will also work with internal parties, solution partners, learning providers and education specialists to develop these strategic initiatives within the education public sector. This position requires deep knowledge about ALAC's public education landscape and about decision and buying processes at all levels, a robust network of contacts, credibility and intuitive understanding of how to work with and influence a diverse network of stakeholders in support of Apple’s strategic priorities. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building coalitions to move an education agenda and/or having occupied an executive position at the ministry of education or local secretaries.

Work with education partners, channels and local authorities to build innovative and effective solutions to deal with K12 education priorities while implementing Apple programs and curriculums aligned with local standards. Education & Experience
BA/BS Degree or equivalent education
10+ years of education experience in a leadership position in public institutions, government agencies, 3rd sector or education providers. Solid understanding of the public education landscape in the country Preferable experience in an academic position Have track record in driving education policies or public programs will be an advantage. Experience in a complex organization environment Proficient in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
